What's new

AskDolphin now connects any business mailbox when you forward its email to AskDolphin. The mail lands in the same shared inbox as website chat and QR conversations. It brings any mailbox into AskDolphin's shared inbox, whoever hosts your email; Gmail and Outlook connections followed in August 2026.

Why it matters

Not every business runs its email on Google or Microsoft. With forwarding, the address customers already know stays the same, no mailbox password is shared with AskDolphin, and your team answers those emails with everything else, in one list.

How to use it

  • Open Integrations and choose the Email card: "Connect your mailbox to AskDolphin so your team can read, reply to, and manage customer emails from one shared inbox." You can also open Settings, then Channels, then Email, and choose Connect mailbox.
  • Forward your business mailbox to the AskDolphin address you are given.
  • When the connection is confirmed, the mailbox shows as Verified on the Mailbox tab.
  • To reply from your own address, add your domain on the Domains tab and a sender address on the Sender address tab.

Good to know

  • Custom business email works through secure email forwarding.
  • Replies can come from your own verified domain, so customers see the address they wrote to.
  • Free includes 1 connected email inbox; Pro includes up to 10, depending on its size.
