AskDolphin now lets you decide which visits use your Advanced Visitor & Sales sessions: what share of new visits to record, and on which days. A visit uses one session from your monthly allowance only when its recording completes, and visits that are not recorded still get live chat and Dolphin AI as usual. The controls sit with AskDolphin's proactive AI tools.
Why it matters
The add-on is sized by AI sessions a month, the visits in which the Sales Assistant follows a visitor, starts helpful conversations and collects leads, and which you can replay later. Not every visit needs one. These controls let you spend sessions on the days and the share of traffic that matter to you, without changing your plan size.
How to use it
In the Advanced Visitor settings:
- Recording percentage: choose what share of eligible new visits to record, from 0% (none) to 100% (all). "This does not change your monthly session allowance."
- Recording schedule: pick the Recording days and the Timezone they are counted in. "Recording runs only on the selected days."
- Recording retention: choose how long recordings are kept, from 1 to 365 days.
- Maximum recording duration: stop a recording after 5 to 240 minutes.
- Current recording status shows whether recording is active for eligible new visits.
Good to know
- Recording starts only after the visitor consents, and checkout, sign-in, payment and account pages stay excluded.
- A completed session does not create a separate charge.
- You choose your monthly number of AI sessions with the add-on's size, from 500 to 25,000. Sizes are on AskDolphin pricing.
- Advanced Visitor & Sales is an add-on for Pro, and you can try it during the 14-day trial.
