AskDolphin now shows who is on your website right now, with their page, location and browser, and lets you watch a visit live with its journey and chat. Session Replay plays back past visits recorded after the visitor consents, with checkout and sign-in pages left out. Both sit with the proactive AI tools in AskDolphin.
Why it matters
Visit counts tell you how many people left; they rarely tell you why. Watching one visit, with the pages, the time on each and the conversation side by side, shows where a customer hesitated, what they asked and what they nearly bought.
How to use it
- Live: open Customers, then Visitors, then Live. Each row shows the visitor (a name, or "Anonymous visitor"), the current page, location, browser, time of entry and last seen.
- Watch live: follow one visit as it happens, with the live session, the Journey, the time spent on each page and the conversation with Dolphin AI. It is "Watch only": to reply, take over from the inbox.
- History: open Visitors, then History to search past visitors, filter by date and by replay, and see their sessions, conversations and playable replays.
- Replay: open a past visit and select Play on a recording. The Recorded session shows "What the visitor saw during this session, with click and scroll markers."
Good to know
- Recording starts only after the visitor consents. "Checkout, authentication, payment, account, and other restricted pages remain excluded from recording," and form fields are masked.
- You choose how long recordings are kept.
- A Purchase intent score from 0 to 100 lists the plain reasons behind it, such as "Returned to products".
- The live visitors list is part of Pro. Session recording and replay, visitor history and the purchase-intent score come with the Advanced Visitor & Sales add-on, which you can try during the 14-day trial.
