AskDolphin's Help Center lets you write articles in collections that customers can search in the chat widget's Help tab. Dolphin AI also answers from the same articles, so one article serves both the reader and the AI. Customers find the Help tab inside AskDolphin's chat widget.
Why it matters
Many questions have one good written answer: how to return an item, how to set up a product, what delivery costs. Writing it once as an article lets customers help themselves in the chat, and gives Dolphin AI the same words to answer from, so the two never tell different stories.
How to use it
Open Data Sources, then Help Center, then Collections. Create a collection with a title and a description, then choose Add Article.
Write in the article editor and check the Preview tab. The editor has headings, links, images and video, and a right-to-left button for languages such as Arabic.
To show articles to customers, open Settings, then Channels, then Live Chat widget, then Appearance, then Help. Switch on Show Help tab, choose which collections appear and drag them into the order you want.
In the widget, customers search ("Search for help"), open a collection and read an article without leaving the chat. Each article shows who wrote it and when it was last updated.
Good to know
Only the collections you switch on appear in the widget, and each article inside a collection has its own switch.
Archive a collection you no longer need from its own page.
The Help Center tab is included on Free and Pro.
